Ministry Apprentice Training Zimbabwe needs your support to build up a model for training for the health and growth of the African church.
MAT is expanding and taking the methodology of apprenticeships into five other African countries (Zambia, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda & Malawi) - but they need our help.
In Zimbabwe 85% of the population are in poverty and earn less than $US 5.50 per day, so they need us to give from our resources in Australia to support their ministry.
Become a Z-20 Church
Please support this multiplying vision, by adding MAT to your mission partners who receive financial support.
We’re asking for churches to make a five-year commitment to give $5000 per year to support MAT, in partnership with Anglican Aid, who facilitate the funding for this movement. We’re calling this Z-20, and we’d love you to become
a ‘Z-20’ church.
Will you partner with MAT with a $5k for 5 year commitment, to multiply ministry apprenticeships in five countries in Africa?

nearly
80%
of pastors are untrained
Not only this, but many churches do not even have pastors.
85%
of the population are in poverty
This means that they are earning less than $US 5.50 per day.
Anglican Aid provides an easy way to become a Z-20 Church and support MAT!
Why Z-20? MAT have estimated they need around $100,000 per year over five years from Australian churches, to service the need and the growth in Zimbabwe and throughout Africa. We’re combined that need with YOU and asking you to take ownership. Zimbabwe + $20k from you = Z-20!
As the movement of MTS continues to grow, we anticipate more X-# projects to see ministry apprenticeship training multiply around the world. Thank you, for your gospel partnership.
MTS (Ministry Training Strategy Australia) is committed to mobilise support for MAT Zimbabwe, as part of the support we provide them. If you’d like more information about MAT and becoming a Z-20 church, please contact us!
